Zara’s Menswear

So I as I mentioned the other day, I have been doing a lot of online shopping (more like browsing) in order to find new ideas and pieces for spring and summer. I posted a bunch of Topman sweaters the other day and now I have moved on to Zara. Their pieces move quickly so they ones I post today might not be there in a week, but they are still pieces I would for sure like to get my hands on. Especially the Alexander Wang inspired t-shirts with leather detail. Check out my picks from Zara after the jump.

Shiny Things: Topman Sweaters

I had the day off school today so besides studying and doing some intern stuff, I spent a considerable amount of time online shopping. I know a bunch of you really liked this Mickey and Minnie Sweater, so I decided to visit Topman again and check out their sweaters. Once again I did find two Mickey Mouse sweaters plus a few other cool ones. 

Review: Elliot Evan’s Never Forever collection

I posted a couple looks from Elliot Evan’s Never Forever collection debuting at New York Fashion Week,(aka Mercedes-Benz Fashion  Week). The collection presented on February 7, 2013 and  now I have all the looks from the show and they are MUST-SEE!  Check them out after the jump.

Must Have: A tale of three Jackets

The leather sleeve jacket trend has been going on for a while and there are images all over the internet of guys  (like Kanye above) rocking this look. Well I decided to join the club this weekend; for those who follow me on twitter (@Fashjon) you may have seen me going back and forth on whether or not to buy a jacket from Zara. Eventually I bought it and there will be pictures to come. However, since most of Zara’s designs are “borrowed” from the runway, I decided to look at the jackets that inspired my purchased. I found three jackets from Mr.Porter that would fit the bill.

Riccardo Tisci is on a hot streak lately as everyone is excited to see his collections; how much this has to do with his Kanye West connection and how much is because of his designs is up to you to decide. Either way I have professed my love for the Rottweilers, Sharks and Birds of Paradise he used in previous collections. This year because Givenchy isn’t showing a Couture collection, Riccardo Tisci said that he wanted to bring a litte bit of couture to menswear

I have not always been a big fan of Louis Vuitton but Kim Jones is slowly and surely converting me. This collection full of animal prints (my fave!!) and the patterned jackets made me drool.
