You can do anything but lay off of my blue rubber shoes

Vivienne Westwood, LOGO ORB RUBBER LOAFERS, Rubber Loafers, Blue Rubber LoafersWhen “they” say a man shouldn’t leave home without his Rubbers, I’m not sure this is what they are talking about.  Before I continue, there is a little bit of business that needs to be taken care of.  I want to officially dedicate this post (on rubbers no less) to Samantha Lim (@iamsamlim), for those who don’t know (or follow) her, she is the fab Editor-In-Chic of FashionIndie (@fashionindie). Check them out and give them a follow, once you are done here! Anyways, with business taken care of, we can get back to shoes!

I know I posted last week that you needed to buy sneakers and rock them this upcoming fashion show season (Men’s shows start Saturday!!!) but while you are buying the sneakers, maybe throw in one of these shoes too.

Vivienne Westwood, LOGO ORB RUBBER LOAFERS, Rubber Loafers, Blue Rubber Loafers,This wonderful Vivienne Westwood Logo Orb Rubber Loafer (available here) is 100% PVC, which gives you the full on rubber shoes experience.

Yves Saint-Laurent Rubber Loafers, Yves Saint-Laurent, Rubber Loafers, Blue Rubber LoafersThis Yves Saint-Laurent rubber loafer (available here) is 90% Rubber and 10% Calf with a rubber sole. It’s also available in black, red and tan.

Both of these blue leather loafers are perfect for Spring/Summer especially if it starts to rain, no need for rubber boots!!! I would wear these with jeans and a plain tee or white pants and a sweater, the possibilities are endless; however, I presume I would have to go sockless, as I imagine it could get kind of warm in there. Which one do you prefer? Would you be comfortable in rubber shoes? Are these a fashion do or don’t?
