Vivienne Westwood has always has interesting shows and this one followed suit – the models were fake beards and mustaches, but this is the designer would brought us blue rubber shoes. She had an interesting mix of tailored suits and patterned leggings. These suits are an awesome example of how one wears plaid and how one mixes plaid. The cuts are sublime and the texture of the fabrics add that little extra flair! although unnecessary considering the cut and print of the suit)Notice the beard on the middle model. The two jackets in these pictures are very much on trend with many of the other coats we have seen. The (faux?) fur coat looks so warm and who wouldn’t want to wrap themselves in it?This is the where the fun side of Vivienne Westwood lies. The mix of plaid is a common theme in the show – along with the fake ‘stache – and looks great in the first look. The bright blue, oversize flannel is amazing and probably belongs on the back of some hipster but mine will suffice. The yellow shoes in the last look are super cool and I want a pair. So what do you think of Vivienne Westwood’s Fall Winter 2012 collection? Is it time to invest in more plaid?
