Brand Preview: Tom Ford Spring Summer 2014

I know this is a few weeks old now but I still wanted to post this. Recently Tom Ford showed five pieces from his Spring Summer 2014 collection andnot surprisingly they were outstanding. Check out the collection after the jump.

Brian Wood’s Fall Winter 2013 Collection

If you haven’t heard of Brian Wood, then I suggest you check out his stuff because it is nice. His Fall Winter 2013 collection did not disappoint either.

The collection fuses hi tech synthetic fabrics with hand bleached and dyed natural fibers. Water Repellant Nylon is quilted with 3M Thinsulate insulation and blended with Woolrich Melton Wool. The entire collection is accented with a custom-made, multi color striped acrylic rib knit detailing. Designed and Made in NYC

Brand Preview: Elliott Evan “Never Forever” FW 2013 Collection

I don’t know how many of you are familiar with Elliot Evan but he is making his NYFW debut this Thursday and I have a few preview images from his upcoming “Never Forever” collection.

Brand Preview: Maison Martin Margiela for H&M

So it’s that time again, H&M and another amazing designer have paired up for a collection launching November 15 worldwide. This time the designer is Maison Martin Margiela which is a label known for design and tailoring. As the release date of this collection is nearing, images from the campaign (see above and after the jump), shot by Sam Taylor-Wood, are appearing on the internet. PLUS some of the clothes!!

Preview: SWIMS Spring Summer 2012 Collection

Growing up I always thought it was funny that my dad would wear rubber booties over his shoes when he went to work; now that I’m in my 20’s, I get it. Why let a beautiful pair of shoes get beaten up by salt and water? So I have been looking for a pair of rubbers or overshoes for some time.  The big issue was, I didn’t want just a boring old pair of black rubbers.  I guess that’s what Johan Ringdal, the founder of SWIMS, and I have in common (that and similar names). SWIMS has reinvented the classic rubber and it is now available in eight awesome colours: Green, Brown, Burgundy, Black, Red, Blue, Orange and Dusty Olive.

Drykorn: Just in time for Winter!

I am a HUGE fan of Drykorn (just ask @gotsyle), and am always looking forward to their next collection. The brand, which was founded in 1996, is based in Kitzingen, Germany. They use high quality, tough fabrics and always add the little extra detail (like perfectly placed epaulets).
